If anything we should be looking at the number of applications and be proud of how attractive our school is to both domestic and international, recent hs graduates and transfers! i don't remember ucla having a huge push to try and increase their admit rate to the point of constructing facilities for new students to replace parking lots old students relied on. I bet I got most of the notable private schools, but if everyone can just check their local state colleges, that would be ideal. I’ve only gotten into UC Santa Cruz and was waitlisted by UC Davis.

Also our school is expanding (as many people have already pointed out) so I wouldn’t expect our acceptance rate to go down anytime soon.
