Any link post not featuring wrestling itself, or in relation to a wrestling show or the wrestling industry, is subject to removal. Smarks do ruin the product. (This is gonna get ugly) Let me know in the comments below. So I've gone off on one saying why I believe smarks have ruined wrestling but I don't think they are fully to blame and here's why. I bet most smarks don't have a lot going on in their lives which makes it easier for them to be pissed off all the time about the product. Follow Pro Wrestling Stories on Twitter @pws_official, Facebook @prowrestlingstories, or reach out via e-mail at admin@prowrestlingstories.com. CONTRIBUTOR Feature. Both guys i train with and I love hearing their backstage and road stories but to some fans they will never make it to WWE if they tried. "Smarks/IWC/Fans ruined wrestling" Archived. So that's to blame on my part for being smarky but this show appealed to smarky and casual fans. Well normally when it's the main event and fans have been waiting hours to finally watch his matches the crowd gets bored, so bored that they try to get themselves over by chanting for other guys in hope to get them over and whilst sometimes I can see why because admittedly I sometimes hope the fans show the negative reaction I feel when anything terrible like that happens cause I want Vince to put a stop to that because Brock is WWEs biggest box office draw right now and he can't afford to make him look bad cause people will tune out which has been the reason for the ratings plunge as of the past few years. :v: Check out his "changes" promo. But anyway guys that's my opinion of weather smarks have ruined wrestling do you agree or disagree? No doubt one of the greatest wrestlemanias to have ever happened, but if you saw any of my blogs and wrestlemania review series of every mania I said many times that it would suck and I wasn't excited for it at all but WWE gave us all a ginormous slap in the face and gave us imo the best wrestlemania of the decade.
But the smarks will boo, you say? Internet has kind of ruined wrestling, as we know what to expect half of the time.
Anyway I'll get to casual fans in a minute. It kills me. I don't know that they have.
Luke Niemiec FOLLOW. It’s a real issue for me. Wrestling is alive and well. Oh god this is gonna be controversial I can tell. Nah, what's ruined wrestling is Vince trying ever so hard to actively displease legitimate wrestling fans by shoving 'sports entertainers' down our throats and burying / simply not using good talent because they were well known in the indies. This came to me when I read stories about WWE changing the plans to make Christian Jeff Hardy's attacker. With the changing nature of the business and with Ric having once hosted a podcast of his own, The Ric Flair Show, we do wonder if he feels the same way he did years before? The guy who wrote my book the first time, I’d go on record as saying is a fucking idiot – it had to be re-written. At some point, you cannot let this group dictate the outcome of the story you want to tell and WWE has allowed this to occur for way too long. Vince pushed them (or is currently pushing them) when you said he doesn't push anybody that's from the indy's.

Let’s face it; if you’re reading this website, you are very likely a smark. I mean, that would be like me trying to write an article on Mercedes Benz. You know fans want to talk to us using our terminology, and it’s a lot of our guy’s fault because they want to talk to the fans and get their opinions.
And for the newbies, once they get into the internet world of wrestling, it kinda ruins all the fun for them. Now when I say this I don't mean to say those of you who do fantasy bookings stop because well some of your ideas are mind blowing but the Roman Reigns hatred is just ridiculous.
Well I'll assure you not so much because his mic skills are poor and the only memorable promos I can remember is Finn explaining that balor means demon king (can't remember the rest) and on the mic with Seth saying "the only thing you're getting handed to you at summerslam is your ass" and sure that last quote was good that's all he did good at on the mic. Finn Balor is called up from NXT to go to raw and he beats Roman reigns, Rusev, cesaro and Kevin Owens and then he wins an opportunity to face Seth Rollins at summerslam and he beats him for the universal title despite the fact that the only thing they knew about him was the origin of the demon king but Finn balor lacks mic skills of his own. Many times people say that Neville single handily saved the cruiserweight division as it had lack of storylines and characters while Neville is one of the best characters in WWE as a whole as he looks like a man that doesn't care about anyone but himself and winning big just to rub it everyone's face because he's at the top of the division. Has the internet ruined wrestling?
Subdividing fan into mark, smark, casual etc. We’ve got too many guys in our business that rely on the opinion of some fan who thinks he’s smart. The last star...and the smarks crucified him. But Daniel Bryan got a neck injury after he finally got his long awaited push in 2014 which started all his retirement nightmares with Daniel returning in 2015 just to get another neck injury then we didn't see him until February 8th 2016 where he announced his retirement on raw. And what about the ones who always but into a conversation just to say "It's scripted, that is what's supposed to happen," like we all don't know … Fellers Fellers Fellers there's only one person to blame for this... Why can't people just say "fan"? If anything, we've ruined wrestling because we search the internet, thinking there is more to WWE than the television programs. And "well this is boring" if you listen to Vince McMahon on stone colds podcast he says pretty much the same thing. Do I like four doors? But, they were pushed.
Now don't get me wrong I do love indy wrestling, I love new japan but I've gone off NXT. But despite Vince listening to the fans some people believe that's the reason why smarks have ruined wrestling. I could use the terminology, but I wouldn’t know anything about it. Smarks just make everyone to negative about the product.
But doing it all the time just for the sake of looking good. Because it was one of those things where if they announced that their matches would be ladder or TLC matches that would draw people in beside they're expecting something crazy and every time they are not disappointed. No. But once they broke up Roman reigns had no mic skills at all but then comes the brand spilt. Absolutely go right ahead, I personally don't even have Roman in my top 10 favourite wrestlers right now but I will say that he is a great athlete and ever since being bumped to the mid card in his feud with Rusev he's improved on the mic a hell of a lot, before he could barely scrape a sentence together, now he's a silent badass and when he does talk it's always about kicking ass and 9 times out of 10 backs it up. He is the quintessential young wrestling fan, and quite frankly, the WWE's biggest target market. With the advent of Twitter, podcasts, as well as easier access to dirt sheets, a line is blurred between what used to be talked about amongst those on the inside and the rest of the world. Reigns was the most over member of the shield but a mixture of cm punk revealing he wanted Chris hero not reigns in the shield and reigns won the rumble that everyone wanted Bryan to win he instantly become public enemy no.1. I just had an interesting conversation with a 7 year old about WWE a few minutes ago, and he reminded me of myself when I was young.
