The Club organises an annual walking festival each year, and is held over the May Bank Holiday Weekend (the 1st Monday in May is an Irish Holiday). There are two types of walks to choose from: a 10km circular walk, and a 20km circular walk. The C walks include the Maunmean & the Killary Fjord Famine Trail.

These include family friendly walks with Alpachas, a photo walk with the award winning photographer Paul Moore and for the more experienced walker who doesn’t mind getting their feet wet a Geological Odessy in the Silver River with John Feehan.

The sort of countryside "that's lovely on foot because you can see it. From 3rd to 10th May, the festival includes trails, rambles and hikes all led by local trained guides.
