Ancestral Steppe is definitely not a stage in the traditional sense.

The more and more I look at everything with this game, from trailers to which specific characters they're adding, it really seems like they might be setting up some kinda, not necessarily story mode, but something that ties the characters together in a more solid way. Would they really hold back a hunter announcement? There are still more characters to be revealed. Maybe both... what does Sakurai mean with Rathalos being a "boss"??? Looked completely flat with no pits; we already have a couple of those, and those at least usually had occasional stage hazards or some kinda variation in geography. No More Heroes 1 was pretty cool but the franshise really doen't work as a long running series for me and Suda51 seems to have forgotten the whole point of Travis being a pathetic loser who things he is a cool badass.
