I'm relatively sure it hits lower, but that's why I want it--to see for sure. Turns out Roy actually has some legitimate benefits over Chrom but Chrom really does get a lot of milage especially in the lower percentages from his consistency. I was also going to do fully charged eruption hitboxes but the explosion covers it.

I'll have to check this out. Whereas first hit nair is one of the games best comb tools as it is free into almost anything, Upair for Roy literally does the same thing behind him and most people don't realize it. :/, I don't think that hitbox is necessary anyways.

Grabs used to happen instantly out of shield as well, but Ultimate added 4 frames to Grabs done after a hit connects with a shield. On Shield advantage/disadvantage data assumes the move hits on its first Active Frame (hitting on a later active frame would be a meaty and can gain additional advantage relative to the later active frames). Incredibly well made video, the data you collected was shown very nicely, the pacing of the video was pretty straightforward and didnt drag on, good music and audio levels and i just want to say that thumbnail is so sick lol. It is often overlook and insanely good for mixups and crossups. I kinda want to retroactively link this to a response to someone who told me the other day that Roy and Chrom, as well as Marth and Lucina, have identical knockback because the developers said that they did... Yeah that person is objectively wrong (and as far as I know the developers definitely didn't say that).

Roy’s up air has gone from a decent mix-up/combo starter in 4 to a super useful tool in Ultimate imo. Alternatively, this ad may have just failed to load.
It would look sick even if it had no practical use.

I always favoured Chrom's on-stage play, but I absolutely hate how his recovery is so predictable if you don't grab the ledge exactly (when you're too low to recover with air dodge) and tends to get me spiked (especially with stronger chars like Ganon). you see, my completely objective, frame data-based reason for playing Roy is because... he is our boy, Didn’t realize Roy’s weak up air was actually that clean for kills.... good knowledge. Roy's WD is the same as every single other characters. 1 year ago Was always huge on Chrom's aerial game and I always felt Chrom's back air was comparable to Roy's back air, but always fought that because I thought Roy's "sweet spot" would be considerably better and now that you've conclusively collected data that states their back airs are almost the same that closes that for me.
