The story line appears to be in direct contrast with that of Star Wars: Battlefront II, which revolved around the Imperial 501st Legion. No, character customization for weapon classes would ruin the balance of the game, and armor customization would ruin the feel of just being a regular soldier on the frontlines, no customization it would ruin the feel of the game. Renegade Squadron focuses on a group of Rebel operatives, known as the renegade squadron. Thats Halo's thing, but I'd wouldnt say no if done right.

I dont care if people want creativity, real soldiers dont get the creative option, and besides, have you ever see soldiers all wearing 1000 different armor looks, no storm troopers look like stormtroopers and rebel soldiers look like rebel soldiers, they dont look unique. Hello, we (most of us) now know that Star Wars Battlefront 3 (refering to as DICE because it does not have an official name) is in the development by Digital Illusions CE (DICE). From what I have seen of Battlefield I think DICE will make a decent revision of Battlefront.
