Once you've controlled the Disruptions, Terrakion's there for some handy Po4+'s, but Tyranitar could give you more flexibility if you want to go that way. i tried it all items (except c-1) before with shuffle move and failed to even beat the stage. i used the same items (+5 moves & mega start), but i finished with around 15 moves left. Only the teams from there that have been tested are in the table now. Each stage after the tutorial rewards 100 Coins (200 on Mobile) for the first win and 30 Coins for subsequent wins. There are 700 stages in both the 3DS version and the mobile version. We'd really appreciate your help on pretty much anything with question marks in the table, though. When in doubt, use ShuffleMove!

The player must complete the tutorial (first 11 stages) before they have access to the Expert Stages and the Special Stages. im pretty sure mega rayquaza requires all items (including c-1) to s-rank. At 13 moves remaining, Mega Rayquaza's disruptions will come back, which can be kind of scary - hopefully by that point you've done a lot of damage.
Somehow I can't get Block Smash+ to proc enough times for this to work, since most of the time I only have 3-matches (50% proc). you will not need a disruption delay with this method, unless you get poor combos or all the pokemon you use are low leveled. That doesn't mean they aren't valid, but you should take them with a grain of salt. I found Diancie more helpful for Mandibuzz, so you can get rid of barriers before Medicham evolves, as well as the ones on the left and right edges that it doesn't hit. itemless clear team (not S-rank): M-Venusaur + optimize (success can vary). When you have a Gengar-sparse board, make smart matches to clear as many icons as possible in a long combo. I had some bad luck with Dancing Dragons (I think it only activated 2-3 times? At time of posting, these are just the teams that worked for me.
When you have a few M-Gengar on the board, try to make a decent combo that doesn't match Gengar.
I saved a lot of coins and hearts S-Ranking levels on the first try thanks to your quick guide. I recently typed up something that could probably be considered a guide to using M-Gengar effectively, and it's very applicable to this stage once you clear Disruptions, so I'll copypasta it below. The board with a few M-Gengar is by far the worst, with low combo potential and greater difficulty populating the board with more Gengar. In some of the later areas, other rewards include Raise Max Level on stages not necessarily the last one in the area.
Why is Victini before Snivy in the Pokédex? Mind Zap resets the 5 countdown, and Sleep Charm extends it as well, Can be done itemless if you catch and bring Scrafty, M-Rayquaza/Gengar, Genesect, Yveltal, Umbreon, Solution: A3>E6, D4>C3, D4>B5, B5>E5, D4>B3, M-Lucario, Machamp, Gallade, Medicham/Watchog, I was able to do this itemless with Medicham. Opening Move (Personal): C3 > E4, E4 > C2, D4 > B2, B4 > B1 (Should open up maximum of 4 columns), SS-Raikou BB+ helps here. Each of the last stages in most areas also rewards 1 Jewel and a Mega Stone (No Jewel on Mobile, just 5 Hearts).

I appreciate you doing this in lieu of /u/DrWeeGee, but honestly, "use ShuffleMove" is not a strategy. Bringing in Chameleon doesn’t really help, Quake can help later on, stall his disruptions, Bringing Eevee along doesn’t really help.
unrelated but i have been following the gamefaq s rank guide, so far im up to vullaby and it works (with some luck for that rng), except for munna where i use lugia to eject the 2-3 disruptions and around 4 moves left to s rank, http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/114531-pokemon-shuffle/73174170 to one of them, and apparently a lot of them are easy to s rank, some may need a move +5 if you dont have the top pokemon or something. The Zone Selection, where players can select which Area to move to quickly. I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Please note that at time of posting, this guide is very barebones, as I haven't gotten the chance to S-rank these stages yet, and I don't have a lot of info at the moment. once again im sorry for my trouble by simply linking. Between Zekrom and Gigalith, you should be able to control the board after the first turn. i s-ranked it with m latios, dragonite, latias and xerneas with all items (+ shuffle move). The Feeling of Victory Special Research Tasks and Rewards, M-Rayquaza/M-Gengar, Psyduck, Zekrom, Virizion, M-Rayquaza, Delphox, Reshiram, Talonflame, Tried many times itemless, couldn’t get close, M-Rayquaza, Zekrom, Magnezone/Virizion, Shaymin, Might be doable itemless if you can get Sleep Charm to activate a lot, Solution: D2>D6, C1>C6, C6>B3, E5>C4, A2>C5, M-Steelix(3DS) / M-Aerodactyl(Mobile), Virizion, Dialga, Gallade, Abilities that clear blocks are the requirement here, M-Garchomp, Gliscor, Landorus-I, Terrakion. Alternate strategies are always welcome! Do that, and you should be able to consistently get combos that range from respectable (5+) to run-away (15+).

I've been able to consistently beat it itemless with 7 or 8 turns left using the Gengar team. Can take a couple tries, but definitely doable itemless with a fully candied Ray.
Also, what mega is needed? Finish making matches of 3, M-Sceptile, Shaymin, Virizion, Gogoat (alt: M-Glalie, Walrein, Kyurem, Dialga), M-Rasyquaza, Zekrom, Magnezone, Cresselia, M-Gengar/Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Landorus, This one isn’t too difficult as long as you have the DD, M-Glalie, Greninja, Shaymin, Milotic/Ludicolo, These abilities are very helpful. Either higher levels or Disruption Delay may be needed. All areas from Sandy Bazaar to Albens Town cost 2 Jewels each to use this feature, and all other areas cost 3 Jewels each. When you have a few M-Gengar on the board, try to make a decent combo that doesn't match Gengar. The Gengar-rich board is the best because it easily leads to massive combos, the Gengar-sparse board is good because it can easily lead to a Gengar-rich board with an easy 5 or 6-combo. itemless clear team (not S-rank): M-Lucario + optimize. S Ranked Mega Rayquaza using all items and a team of Mega Gengar (Max, 1 Speedup), Dragonite (8), Latias (8), and Latios (8) with 12 moves remaining and a bit of overflow damage on that last turn.
i've found a bit more reliable solution for s-ranking rayquaza is m rayquaza, along with xerneas, diancie (for barrier bash+, although mamoswine works too), & an 80 ap dragon type. Just s ranked ray.

ive s-ranked the following itemless: aron (i used m lucario, but most others i think used gengar), flabebe, makuhita, munna, vullaby (puzzle), musharna, tympole, nosepass (i used m gengar, dialga and nosepass), spinarak, rattata, porygon (puzzle)), chinchou, igglybuff, alomomola (puzzle), doduo, mamoswine, & skuntank. small update to abomasnow: Reshiram makes it a cakewalk if you managed to snag it. 2 Teams with this superscript have been mentioned in this thread, but haven't been tested by me yet. I, in my obviously wonderful skill and magnificent luck, failed to S-Rank it my first play using all items w/ M-Gengar and strong team, but then managed to S-Rank it using the same items and team (save the mega-slot) w/out Shuffle Move, but it was still close. Main Stages contain the core stages of the game, consisting of several areas each with 10, 15, 30, 50, or 60 stages. M-Abomasnow may be better for this, once he's released.
