The fight can be divided into two parts.
The boss is immune to Topple/Daze effect but that doesn’t matter as Fiora in this fight cannot go below 1 HP.
Shulk Enchants the party and rushes Xord with the Monado only to find out that it still does not affect the Faced Mechon.
Sharla can mess this up as she doesn't have any red arts at this point in time but if you're able to pull off some fancy Talent Art moves you can get a multiplier going.
A similar story to it but with almost no inappropriate content. Dragon still gave me some grief when the Aura Seal wore off but I beat him, and Dickson and Zanza weren't much trouble. Take your favorite fandoms with you and never miss a beat.
Watch out for the Vision prompt and tap the B button as fast as you can.
And if I ever want to play the regular way again, I can always set a separate save file. Once you've built up a chain attack, let loose on Xord!
The Mechon tentacles will use fire shots which can inflict blaze damage. You can't have the Monado at this point so don't worry you haven't missed anything Once the battle comes to an abrupt end the Mysterious Face will not let up his attacks against Shulk, Reyn and Sharla. Boost Attack: A status based Aura that Xord will use on himself to grant the Haste buff to his attacks. (Currently about to look for the Radiants, I'd have probably beaten Xord last night were I not held up by a thunderstorm, even though power hasn't gone out from thunderstorms in years I wanted to play it safe). The group takes the freight elevator out of the Ether mine and cracks a couple jokes at Reyn's expense on the way until the elevator comes to an abrupt stop. This is easier said than done, however as at this point in time the party does not have that many toppling tools. [Verse 1] / Please don't kill yourself, I'm talking to you / And I don't pretend to know everything that you've been through / But if it's shame you feel, just know that I've
Mysterious Face This post will contain spoilers for Xenoblade Chronicles. Xord is introduced as rather forceful. Just like the metal face, you can inflict 1 damage using the physical attacks (unless the boss is toppled).
Reyn is the aggro holder and Shulk is the damage dealer. While you march your way towards the boss, you will have to defeat some enemies too.
Sky Ray will use Ether Meteor II when it’s HP is quite low.
Shulk will be an effective option in this fight as Mumkhar has protection against the physical attacks.Fiery Pain IV is the Talent art (inflicts blaze damage in-line) you should watch out for. Also from landmarks I got Fiora up to Level 15. If you have not finished the game, I advise tapping away from this right now OR skipping down to the Battle portion of this post where I will give tips on how to defeat this boss.
Gold Face is immune to Daze and activate Monado won’t be of any use for you in this fight. With the party unable to do anything, the Faced Mechon is ready to finish them off before realizing his time there is up and flying off with Juju. Xenoblade Chronicles is huge and your adventure won’t be over without facing-off some ruthless annoying brutes. The second major reason is the fact that he is the only enemy you're fighting.
Once you've done enough damage, Xord will fall in defeat. So wait. In my opinion, Xord is one of the most OVERLOOKED tragic characters in Xenoblade Chronicles.
Should my third player be Reyn or Dunban?
When you face Mumkhar in Sword Valley, you should focus on two Mass-Produced Faces (one at a time) first before the boss itself. Xord falls into the river and is seemingly ended. Edit: Beat Zanza again, and didn't even have to use Shulk, owned him with Fiora, Riki, and Reyn in all three forms. Both of them will try to squeeze you out of resources. I'll probably set an extra save file for fighting Zanza whenever I want to before I restart this, but I'll probably restart it right away after fighting Zanza a few more times.
You're saying I can play through the whole game again but starting at Level 88 and thus dominate the whole game without having to take up 75% of the time level grinding? You have been warned... Xord is a Mechon antagonist in Xenoblade Chronicles and the second Faced-Mechon the party is introduced to.
In the first encounter, it’s immune to Topple/Daze so you will have to find other ways to do the damage. Initially, reduce 25% of the Max HP to end the fight.
The group fends off a few of the smaller Mechon before Xord himself approaches them.
It likes to use Shield Barrier so you will have to spot the right opportunity to do the damage. At Central Factory, I remembered the big room with the Fortress enemy, the room with the Faced Mechon, and blowing up the entrance to the building with a bomb. Master Obart Xord is OUTRIGHT IMMUNE to Sleep, Arts Seal and Instant Death, has no resistance to Lock-On or Aura Seal and a 70% resistance to Bind, Paralysis, Slowness, Agility Down, Ether + Attack Power Down and Physical + Ether Defence Down. He will summon minions (level 21 Mechons, M55 and M67). Apart from summoning the minions on the regular basis, Yaldabaoth will use the Bionis Slash X attack near its death.
After the Topple/Daze effect, you should direct your party members to attack the boss.
Apocrypha Generator (I think the worst it gets is the ability to unequip Fiora, Sharla, and Melia's tops and skirt/shorts, which is optional and non-productive as it would lower stats, and only someone who wants to would) The only thing it was missing was... well, there was a dragon but I found him harder than Tyrea, Gadolt, and Lorithia put together so even though he looks cool I don't like him ONE BIT. To save you the trouble, we have some useful information that can help you to defeat the bosses in the game.
